DEFINITION
A green street seeks to reduce stormwater runoff and associated pollutants, bring natural elements into streets, and improve access for pedestrians and bicycles.

Storm water runoff and its associated pollutants can be measured to determine the effectiveness of the green street in removing or mitigating these issues.
