Starting a LID project database

First, I wanted to thank Brice for pointing me over here as a resource. I love the way the wiki is set up and the resources are spot on. Kudos to the group! I look forward to contributing and being a part of the overall effort. I have been blogging about stormwater resources for the last few months at http://www.stormwaterlibrary.com and have been focusing on LID as the main topic of my posts. One of the things that I have become interested in is how demonstration projects can provide a "proof of benefit" and spread LID's implementation as a whole. To this end, I am attempting to put together the most comprehensive database possible of LID projects. I am looking at large case studies like you have presented on the wiki down to smaller single-lot level projects. I would like this to be a searchable database that can be filtered down to usable statistics on LID use by region or can show overall trends in LID as a whole. Most importantly, I would like it to be a pointer to any project that can serve as a demonstration site. The end product would be a living database that can be fed by users to help it grow and stay viable.

Any suggestions on how to track down as many projects as possible would be very helpful and I would love to collaborate on this with as many people as possible. I am excited that Brice invited me over here and I hope to get to know everyone over time.

Best,
Matt Baumgardner (mbaumgardner@envirosolve.com)
